who we are
Good Salt Restaurant Group has been elevating Central Florida's culinary scene since 2000. Founded by Jason & Sue Chin to deliver exceptional cuisine and inspired beverage programs to their community, Good Salt has been a staple of Orlando food and drink from the beginning.
We are proud to employ some of the best hospitality professionals of Orlando, FL including Chef Wendy Lopez and Chef Huy Tin, Chef Michael Cooper and Chef Nikk Burton. Each thoughtfully designed restaurant is passionately brought to life by the creativity and talent of the Good Salt team. We aim to be your favorite restaurant of choice when you think of dining out -- Every. Single. Time.
about us
Jason and Sue Chin met at the original Seito Sushi (founded by Jason's father) in Winter Park Village. Together, they opened The Osprey in 2015, with Reyes Mezcaleria following shortly after in 2017. Their fourth restaurant, The Monroe, opened in May 2021. Jason and Sue were named Outstanding Restaurateur Semifinalists by the James Beard Foundation in 2022.

Jason and Sue find much of their restaurant inspiration from extensive travel and an ambitious appetite for life. By drawing on their experiences and culinary explorations they seek to share exemplary cuisine with Central Florida.

about: our community
Our goal is to enrich the lives of our guests and employees through exceptional food, inspired beverage, and memorable service. Clearly, food and beverage is our passion. For us, that passion expands beyond the dining room. We are proud to partner with many local projects and nonprofits serving the greater Orlando area. Whether its a fundraiser from our annual Ramen Rumble, an awareness benefit for the Panacea Florida Oyster Co, or providing meals to those who need them during COVID-19, we make giving back to community a priority.
